New materials and techniques

Agriculture is entering a new era: digitalisation, bio-based products, renewable energies… All of these new materials and techniques can help farmers face the challenges related to productivity, efficiency and sustainability. Agriculture has adapted to the use of digital tools in order to improve efficiency as well as attracting a younger generation to the sector.

Furthermore, agriculture provides innovative alternatives to fossil fuels and oil and petroleum products. Via the use of new materials and techniques, sustainable agriculture can capture atmospheric carbon, storing it for long periods of time and it can also protect the environment and biodiversity.
