The Chambers of agriculture have a mission of public utility besides collectivities and the society. They must communicate their approach by means of examples tested in agriculture and forestry to local decision-makers at the different stages of their decision-making process (European, national, regional and local). Chambers of agriculture can provide public authorities with solutions adapted to different contexts such as surface waters protection, biodiversity improvement, as well as local solutions concerning renewable energies. The ability to try new methods and bring farmers together enables different parties to become change player and instigator in the main political directions.
