FABulous Farmers se poursuivra jusqu'en 2023 !

The partners of the Interreg NWE FABulous Farmers project have recently won the call for capitalisation. The aim is to improve the uptake of the FAB measures developed in the project and maximise the impact of the project to go beyond the initial objectives. An extension of the budget and project until December 2023, allows us to launch new activities in september 2021. These activities aim to:

  • Improve the uptake of FAB measures, as a natural-based solution to reduce the use of natural and material resources, by farmers in North West Europe.
  • Expand to new areas in Germany and the UK.
  • Develop digital marketplaces with verification standards in 5 European countries to finance farmers for eco-system services.
  • Engage with new economic sectors (SMEs, food and non-food businesses) and citizens.

This call for capitalisation is also an opportunity to welcome a new partner in the FABulous Farmers consortium, the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), which will bring its expertise in the sale of agricultural ecosystem services.

This project is funded by Interreg NWE.
